Tied Sunwear started with a simple mission: to help women stay sun-smart without sacrificing style. For us, the inspiration was deeply personal.

Growing up, sunny beach days and poolside vacations were family favorites, with our mom, Karen, always leading the way. But everything changed with her melanoma experience, when she couldn't find sun-protective clothing that made her feel like herself. Watching our mom hide from the sun instead of enjoying it sparked an idea.

We set out to create a better solution, sun-protective clothing that lets women feel confident, comfortable, and protected, because protecting your skin from the sun shouldn't mean hiding from its rays.
